Chavakkad Beach


Chavakkad Beach is located in  Thrissur District in Kerala State. It lies on the coast of Arabian Sea and attracts domestic and international tourists. Fringed shadow of coconut lagoons and the mesmerizing atmosphere make Chavakkad Beach a tourist spot throughout the year. Chavakkad Beach  is the place where the sea confluences with a river. The meeting point is known as Azhimukam. It is counted amongst Kerala’s most popular beaches because the beach is unexplored by domestic tourists.

Neendakara Beach


Neendakara is a coastal village in Kollam district.The place is situated 9 km away from Kollam town. Neendakara is one of the most beautiful beaches in terms of overall category, Neendakara an evergreen hub for tourist.The palce is a famous fishing harbour.This is one of the biggest port of the region which can contain more than 500 fishing boat at a time. The area around the port is also have the excellent beauty.It is the famous tourist spot of the district.It is very attractive to see fishermen catching fish with Chinese fishing nets. From here you can see the Ashtamudi Lake joining the sea from the Neendakara Bridge and also the Chinese fishing nets silhouetted against the sky.

Andhakaranazhy Beach


Andhakaranazhy  beach  is located 4 km west of Pattanakkad under Pattanakkad Panchayath under Cherthala Taluk. It is one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches near Alleppey and is located at a distance of 30 kilometers from Kochi. A tall and majestic lighthouse near the azhy stands like a signal tower guiding the seamen during night. This lighthouse was open to the public during Onam, but is restricted now. This place is also one of the popular locations for Malayalam film shoots.

Nattika Beach


Nattika is located at a distance of 30 KM from Thrissur. Attractions in Nattika include backwater cruises, country boat rides, elephant rides, cultural performances in addition to the beach. Nattika beach was known as Attakuzhi bandhar kadapuram before. Nattika is on the west coast of Thrissur.Canoly canal is the eastern border of Nattika. There is a private bus stand in Triprayar.Nattika is 60 km away from cochin air port and 25 km away from Trichur railway station.

Chowara beach


Chowara is a village , dotted with coconut trees and a beach called Chowara Beach. Chowara is a place near to Vizhijam and It is around 20 kms from Thiruvananthapuram and 4 kms from Kovalam. On the beautiful beach of Chowara one usually see clusters of kites and eagles keeping an eye for fish hunting. After reaching Kovalam one of the places one must check out is Chowara Beach. Some of the popular tourist attractions of Chowara beach include Ayyappa Temple. This is a temple of immense faith and is very popular in the city of Kovalam. Pulikudi-Azhimala Shiva temple is also a place to check out when visiting Chowara beach. One can also check out the spas and ayurvedic centers for healing for the ultimate holiday feel. Beypore beach




The Beypore beach, situated at the mouth of the River Chaliyar near Kozhikode (Calicut) in North Kerala. It was one of the major ports and fishing harbors of elapsed times and enjoyed immense importance in the trade and maritime History of Kerala. Above all Beypore was world famous for its ship-building industry and lured the Arabs with the specially built vessels named uru. The traditional shipbuilders were known as Khalasis, who are adept in ship building knowledge and craft.

Beypore Beach still exudes its old charm and you can still smell the past when you visit the historic boat-building yard. You can still watch the creative process of building uru(typical vessel) in this beach.The isolated beaches around Beypore are pristine and clean and ideal for a secluded repose. You can laze around, stroll or indulge in water sports or treat yourself to a relaxing Ayurveda massage.

You can taste the delectable freshly cooked seafood delicacies from the seaside stalls and drink the refreshing coconut water. Another great attraction at Beypore is its splendid stone bridge that extends for 2 kms and is completely built of stones, jutting into the sea. You can also visit the adjacent city of Kozhikode, a famous tourist destination in Kerala.

Muzhapilangad beach




Adventure flying at Muzhappilangad Beach



Muzhapilangad beach is the single most largest Drive-in beaches in Asia, located 17 km from Kannur and 8 km from Thalessery. It is one of the longest beaches in Kerala. The natural shallow water of this beach is an ideal place for swimmers. One can enjoy the maximum swimming thrills without fearing for the powerful currents. The shores of this proud beach is beautifully fringed with blank boulders which protects the shores from lashing waves. The unpaved roads are fabulously decorated with grooves of coconut trees. Alappuzha beach




The Alappuzha beach which is also called as Alleppey beach lies in between the Arabian Sea and the Punnamada backwaters. The Alappuzha beach is an attractive one and was a busiest coast of south India in the earlier times. It is a beautiful beach with scarlet sunsets with silver sands and palm trees. The canals and backwaters here helped in the transportation of goods from the Western Ghats to the sea. There is an old light house and a pier that is around 1000 ft long. It was built in the year 1862, by Captain Hugh Crawford. This pier was helpful for trade purposes and provided shelter to the boats that reached there.

 Alappuzha beach has facilities for adventurous water sport activities like surfing, parasailing, riding water scooters, high speed boats etc. It is considered to have one of the best water sport facilities. The tourists also can take a dip in the sea and enjoy swimming in the clear waters.

The beach is beautified by a garden where you can take a walk and roam about. There are two parks near to the beach namely the Vijaya Park and the Sea View Park. There are facilities for boating, toy trains for kids etc. available in these parks that attracts the children and they can have a great time here. There is also a swimming pool in the Vijaya Park.

Kozhikode beach(Calicut beach)




Kozhikode beach is a beautiful beach which is a favorite of all sunset viewers. There is a lighthouse and 2 piers that extend towards the sea. These piers are around 130 years old. One is the ‘Iron Screw Pile’ pier that was built in the year 1871. It is in the northern part and is around 120 meters long having a T shaped edge. Towards the south lies the next pier. Near to this beach lies the Lions Park and the Marine Water Aquarium. Children can spend a great time in the park which has got various facilities for children. There is an old bridge on the beach and it is exciting to walk to the edge of this beach.

This shore is said to have historical significance as it had witnessed many historic events such as battles, arrival of ships from far lands etc. Various national leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Indira Gandhi and Krishna Menon have addressed the crowd from here. After Mahatma Gandhi’s visit to this place, the Beach road came to be called as the Gandhi road. There is a 'Horse's Jumping Point' near to the south pier where horses are made to jump into the sea, swim and reach the shore. They will be then displayed for sale.
