Bolgatty Island



 Bolgatty Island is one of the finest tourist locales in Kochi. Located beside Ernakulam Island and Eillingdon Island, the place is a favorite tourist hangout. The exotic seas scape and the serene ambiance of the island are worth a visit. Bolgatty Island of Kochi is a small island which is just a boat ride away from Kochi harbor mouth. The palace holds the distinction of the oldest Dutch palace outside Holland. In the year 1909, the Britishers took it over on lease.

At present the Bolgatty Palace at the Bolgatty Island is under the governance of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation i.e., KTDC. KTDC has converted the palace into a heritage hotel with all the necessary luxurious services.
